More Than
A Restaurant.
A Tribute to
Nana.
NANA (NOUN) - PUNJABI FOR MATERNAL GRANDFATHER
Our Nana, Naranjan Singh Kalsi, was a man who spoke the universal language of food. He didn't just cook; he hosted. He didn't just feed bodies; he fed souls.
Arriving in the UK in the 1950s, Nana brought with him the vibrant spirit of Punjab. His kitchen wasn't just a room; it was the heart of the community. Whether it was a celebration, a sorrow, or just a Tuesday, his table was always open, and his pots were always full.
He taught us that food is a social glue. It breaks down barriers, starts conversations, and turns strangers into friends. That's the spirit we've poured into Nana's.
"Eat, drink, and be merry - but mostly eat."
Authentic, Not Apologetic
We serve the food Nana cooked for us. Real Punjabi flavors. Rich, buttery sauces. Vegetables treated with respect. Spices that wake you up.
We are a family-run independent business, and we do things our way. No shortcuts, no pre-made jars, just honest cooking and a warm welcome.
Come for the Food, Stay for the Vibe
We've ditched the white linen tablecloths for a space that feels alive. We want you to laugh loudly, share plates, get messy, and leave with a full belly and a happy heart.
This is Social Dining. This is Nana's.
